New Wave Radio App on the Ipod Touch!

We have just received advice that the iPhone radio.app designed for home use on the Apple iPhone and iPod touch. From what we know, the app will be allowed to operate in the background, for example, iPod.app and offer the same functionality and FM radio of the new iPod nanos. Source stated that this program can also be included iPod.app before publication.

Raids on this app is that Apple tries to integrate the Mobile iTunes Store purchases on the functionality of the program. For example, if you want a song you hear on the radio (and the station supports tagged and you're in the U.S.) and will be able to push the button and see the song (and all information about him) in the Mobile iTunes store. With a second click, you'll be able to make a purchase. This is a continuation of the Song Selection feature used in iPod nanos. It might even be to add some Shazam technology to assist in these cells, which do not support the tag.

Although not stated, the app will probably be the same functionality Pause Live nanos are now enjoying.

Apple iPod and iPhone can receive FM radio signals in time. Latest generation of the iPhone and iPod touch can even send FM signals, such as stereo. Ability to the iPhone and iPod touch to receive the FM signal is used only for implementation of the Nike + ecosystem on this issue.

It would not be the first time awakened dormant Apple hardware functionality of their mobile products. Apple sometimes decide to go dormant hardware features in their products until they feel the time has come. For example, Apple did not enable Bluetooth in his 2nd generation iPod touch 9 months after discharge. Apple is also not possible to 802.11n 5 GHz wireless network (which we also hope to soon be updated) in its latest iPhone and iPod.

Addition of the FM radio to eliminate the advantage over Apple's OSX ZuneHD Touch line of products.
